Tygerberg 2 – Stellenbosch Medical Campus, Student accommodation
One year later with phase 1 in the proverbial bag, it was time for Tygerberg 2. With our staff well versed in the technology and fully trained, Tygerberg 2 proved to be another wonderful success story with our previous experience in student housing, standing us in good stead.
As with Tygerberg 1, the combined use of Light Steel Framing and Versapanel high density cement particle boards proved to be ideally suited for the student accommodation demand. The faster construction time allowed a very favorable commercial aspect in terms of earlier occupation of beds and therefore an income stream at least 40% earlier than what would have been possible using any conventional construction methods.
Our buildings are fully engineered with sign-off & professional indemnity from our structural engineers.
